Neck Pain

The neck consists of 7 vertebra and their discs, muscles, ligaments and soft tissue. These vertebrae are the smallest in the spine. As well as supporting the head, the neck is the most flexible part of the spine. Neck pain can vary from mild stiffness to being very painful with loss of movement.

Some causes of neck pain:-

  • Sleeping awkwardly
  • Excessive computer use
  • Sports injury
  • Trauma following a car accident
  • Wear and tear
  • Anxiety and stress
  • Cervical Spondylosis

    Cervical Spondylosis is a term used for wear and tear affecting the neck. It is more common over the age of 30. Many people have no symptoms.
